Why a Selfie Pod Is a Great Addition to Your School Prom or Dance

School proms and dances are all about bringing students together, celebrating and creating memories with friends.

Alongside the music and dancing, adding an interactive photo experience gives students something else to enjoy throughout the event — and that's where a Selfie Pod can work brilliantly.

1. A Fun Way to Bring People Together

Not everybody heads straight for the dancefloor.

A Selfie Pod gives groups of friends something fun and informal to do together, helping create another social area within the event.

Students can pose together, use the available props and create photos throughout the evening.

2. Perfect for Sharing Memories

One of the biggest advantages of our Selfie Pod is its digital experience.

Guests can take their photos and share them digitally, making it ideal for an audience that's used to having photos available on their phones and sharing memories online.

There's no waiting around for printed photographs — students can enjoy the experience and keep their digital memories from the event.

3. Compact Enough for Many Venues

Unlike some larger photo and video experiences, a Selfie Pod doesn't require a huge amount of floor space.

That makes it particularly useful for school halls, hotels, function rooms and prom venues where space may already be needed for the DJ, dancefloor, tables and other entertainment.

4. Works Brilliantly Alongside a DJ

A Selfie Pod doesn't replace the main entertainment — it complements it.

While some students are dancing, others can be taking photos with their friends. Throughout the evening, guests can move naturally between the dancefloor and the Selfie Pod.

For schools looking for a complete entertainment solution, it can be combined with one of our professional DJ services as part of a bespoke event package.

5. Creates Memories of an Important Occasion

A school prom is often one of the final occasions where an entire year group celebrates together before students move onto the next stage of their lives.

Having plenty of photographs from the evening gives students something they can look back on long after the event has finished.
